Through some requests for documents from the apartment complex, we found out that they had painted these steps with a paint that was not non-skid or non-slip, and that’s required because these were outdoor steps that can get wet.
There are all different sorts of faulty step claims. You can have the wrong sort of paint used. You can have steps that have the wrong size risers or wrong size treads. You can have step cases where the steps are broken up. We’ve handled all of these sorts of cases.
