Growing up in Birmingham, Ala., Robert V. White thought he would be a sportswriter, but decided to pursue a career in the law. He started as a journalism major in college before switching to political science. A few years into college, he decided to take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). With no lawyers in the family as influence, he jokes he may have been influenced by frequent airings of John Grisham’s “A Time to Kill” on the college TV station.
He began his law practice in Pensacola and Destin, where his father lived, before moving to Fort Myers in 2015.
Robert is an accomplished litigator. For over a decade he has been involved in litigating motor vehicle accident, personal injury and wrongful death cases. He brings that expertise to GBCR&P and also a passion for helping those who have been injured or families who have lost a loved one because of the negligence of another.
White’s wife is also an attorney, and they enjoy travel, particularly to Europe, and spending time with their Golden Doodle.
