Gonzalo A. Gayoso

As an AV-rated, Spanish-speaking criminal and civil litigator and appellate practitioner, with nearly 20 years of experience appearing before the State and Federal courts of the State of Florida, Alberto has practiced in many areas of the law. In 1990, he joined the Florida Bar after earning his J.D. degree from the University of Miami. He later joined the Bars of the Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of the U.S. District Courts of Florida. From 2006 to 2008, he served on the Florida Bar’s Appellate Court Rules Committee. In 1994, 2001 and 2007, the 11th Judicial Circuit “Put Something Back” program awarded him the “Exceptional Participation Pro Bono Service Award.” He holds a B.A. in English and an M.S. in Criminal Justice. His practice focuses on appellate, administrative, criminal, family, immigration, personal injury, and post-conviction/DNA exoneration areas of the law.
